New Orleans act Eyehategod are one of the very few artists who can lay genuine claim to originating a style, in this case hardcore edged sludge. Formed in 1988 by ex-Crowbar drummer Jimmy Bower taking up guitar to create Eyehategod. They are delivering a quite unique brand of de-tuned violent Metal. Over the year’s the group, despite an ever fluxing line up, has gained respect for a no compromise approach to their art backed up with over a dozen nationwide tours. Bower have also kept himself occupied with numerous other projects the most well known being Down and Superjoint Ritual. This album includes some early demo and live mateiral.
