Burton had vocals recorded around 2017/2018 and left Fear Factory around 2020 to continue work with Ascension Of The Watchers, which really makes this album feel like their last Hurrah because I’d be lying if I said that Burton would not be missed. He will. His time in Fear Factory was greatly appreciated and his talents will be missed on any future FF projects.
