The international folk metal collective known as Folkearth seventh studio album was released in October of 2009 and it features 12 different musicians from 9 different countries. Old members and newcomers who also play in bands as Folkodia, Frekkr, Excelsis, Sunuthar, Minhyriath, Hildr Valkyrie, Dol Amroth, Skiltron, Black Knight Symfonia and Seventh Sword took part in this album. ‘Rulers Of The Sea’ features eleven new odes of praise to the ancient world in a folk Viking metal way. This is an absolute pagan metal delight. Many interesting acoustic instruments were used in this album: lutes, mandolins, bagpipes, violins, flutes which give unique flavor.
