Volume 3 in the video archive series of one of the most adventurous musical genius the world has ever seen. This volume features a private recording from Stadhalle in Vienna, Austria on the 8th of May 1988. Here you will find Frank Zappa with Ike Willis on vocals performing Led Zeppelins Stairway To Heaven. You can also see during this track a bearded man with a cap on his knees on stage with a film camera. It seems to be he’s charging a film reel or something and afterwards looks like he’s testing the shooting and another guy comes to ask him something. When Montana sounds we can see a glimpse of this cameraman who now is standing up, shooting the show. Frank Zappa later said that the show in Madrid on the 14th of May was shot as well. Would be cool if someday more material would show up. After this Vienna show comes two German TV apperances, PIT and RTL from 1988 and then it ends with clips from POP 11 TV when Frank Zappa does a visit to Budapest. And as always with rare unreleased material like this it varies alot in quality.
