Freddy And The Phantoms is a psychedelic rock and blues rock band from Copenhagen in Denmark. They were formed in 2010 and released the following albums: Leaving the Landscape in 2010, Shadows Across the Country in 2012 and a then Times Of Divisions in January of 2015. I especially love the melodic No Time with the amazing, strong guitars in a Deep Purple style with impressive Hammond organs, Blues atmospheres, and driving Hard Rock. Another interesting one is Borderline Blues with beautiful guitars, rocking sounds of blues and lilting harp play. The bass player also contributes in a great way In The Attic which has a groovy mood and Whitesnake and Uriah Heep sounding guitars. The title track Times Of Division is full of older sounds, Rock N roll like ti was in the 60s and 70s, very energetic with choir in the background and once again an amazing Hammond key. Gentle rocking in style of Led Zeppelin is found in the breezy Storm On The Riverside and energetic riffs with perfect rhythmic section with catchy refrain and beautiful organs can be found in No One To Blame. Hammond organs and nice guitars embellish the groovy On The Sidewalk. Another powerful track is Morning Sun with its incredible connection between the guitars and organs. Down Down Down has a memorable chorus with nice bluesy working bass, melodic organs and fine singing. The album comes with a crystal clear production and the guys in this band mix the music elements of blues, hard rock and psychedelic rock to perfection. If you like your rock bluesy then this will be a very pleasant listening
