As the Duke Tour drew to a close In May, Genesis played three incredible concerts at London Venues: The 5th at The Theatre Royal, Drury Lane; 6th and 7th at the Lyceum Ballroom. All three shows were recorded to 24 track audio tapes and the two Lyceum dates were filmed by The BBC. This release features the first of those two shows at the Lyceum Ballroom back in 1980. This means the concert captures Genesis in their latter incarnation, after the departure of Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett. Coinciding with work on the Abacab album, this concert demonstrates the band’s development from their prog-rock beginnings to the mainstream pop success that was to quickly follow. Includes hits such as ‘Dancing With The Moonlit Knight, Follow You, Follow Me and I Know What I Like.
