After spending time in a NYC studio recording their final album together, Brutality And Bloodshed For All, GG was ready to continue his onslaught against society and anyone else who stood in his way. His anger had escalated and he was spiraling completely out of control. He took his fury out on the road and even though he had increasingly difficult to get gigs, especially after a 1986 Village Voice article that chronicled a notorious show at New York City’s Cat Club (reportedly the first time he defecated on-stage) he still managed to put a tour together. Terror In America 1993 Tour started at the Fastlane 2 in New Jersey on the 25th of April 1993 and lasted up to the show at The Gas Station in New York on the 27th of June (GG Allin was found dead from a drug overdose on the 28th of June). The material on this album was recorded on the This tour was probably the most publicized tour of his career. The material on this album was recorded on the following dates; 25th of April, 12th of May, 13th of May, 16th of May, 24th of May, 26th of May and on the 27th of May. The material from the opening show of the tour in New Jersey was by far the best. GG was fresh out of prison and at the top of his game, seeming sober and clear-minded he performed for 60 minute and he did two encores, something GG never did otherwise. This night he wa relatively sedate, with Allin only hitting a coupla people, swinging from some rafters and slashing at himself with a torn beer can until his head and body are bleeding profusely, never got naked nor did he defecated. But when I say relatively sedate, its because relatively sedate by most other people’s standards is still pretty fucking grim and grimy and gritty. Much of this show is probably what could have been if GG would have been an ordinary performer. But things changes during the tour and he is soon in none too good mood and the shows becomes blood-and-sweat-soaked disgraceful spectacles. The law ain’t got me down, lemme tell ya. I’m a motherfucker and I’m gonna go out there and fuck some shit up, he intones gravely at one night. And fuck shit up he does. He starts burning the American flag on stage then on the last nights of the show its not so much of a show anymore but an exercise in hatred of self and others and rampant violence and audience master baiting, Allin slings abuse and swings wildly out at the people there to see him, who take great pleasure in reciprocating the provocation the man had as his vocation on his vacation from reality, running in and throwing wide wild-singer-winging swings before darting out in the cowed crowd again. Allin here is a fat tattooed self-gored bullfighter endlessly mercilessly baiting the audience and its all a strange cathartic sadomasochistic experiences in fearless self-loathing, with both audience and performer gaining pleasure and release from the violence inflicted on them. But despite all the violence on the tour the band still managed to play hateful hardcore nihilist ditties like Outlaw Scumfuc, Cunt Sucking Cannibal and I Live To Be Hated
