Girlschool take their place in British Rock history by being, without doubt, the most successful all female Hard Rock band, a fact witnessed by the group being the constant yardstick to which all other girl bands have been measured up to. After a tremendous succes of the first album the band used Vic Maile as producer again. They released ‘Hit And Run’ in early 1981. This album proved to be an even bigger succes and the album peaked at number #5 on the Uk charts. At this point Girlschool were capable of selling out Hammersmith Odeon and pulling healthy audiences across Europe and America. The Hit And Run single featured the none album track Tonight as the B-side
