Original UK press with insert Gogmagog was a one off supergroup assembled by Music Industry entrepreneur Jonathan King. The all star line-up comprised of ex-Iron Maiden vocalist Paul Dianno, former Gillan and White Spirit guitarist Janick Gers, original Def Leppard guitarist Pete Willis, ex-Whitesnake bassist Neil Murray and another ex-Iron Maiden member, drummer Clive Burr. Having tried to tout the record around to all the major labels with no takers the I Will Be There single was eventually released through Music For Nations subsidiary label Food For Thought. This was Gogmagogs sole release. The reviews weren’t that positive and the project was abandoned when the EP failed to chart. The title track was originally written and recorded by Russ Ballard on his 1981 album Into the Fire.
