The second album from Gotthard titled ‘Dial Hard’ was released in 1994 and the band continue in the same direction as the first album but this time it's a bit more polished – still heavy metal though! While Gotthard did a cover of ‘Hush’ the last time, they have now chosen Beatles' ‘Come together’ and they managed to do a great version. The songs on ‘Dial Hard’ are mainly of high standard even if one could ask for more originality since the material melts together like it did on the debut album. But with songs like the groovy "Mountain mama", the bluesy "I'm your travelin' man", and the strutting "Dirty devil rock", Gotthard really shine from time to time. Track listing: 1. Higher 2.
