Perm, Russian based death thrash metal band founded in 1992, debuting with 1993’s ‘Death Of A Bite’ demo. Their first full length album Border Of Misty Times was released on cassette only in 1999 a tape that was released on cd in 2005. This is the bands third album and it was released in 2001. Grenouer is a death metal band with a certain groove and good hooks. Perhaps some rock ‘n death influences which sound quite cool. They remind me a bit of mid-paced Pungent Stench (the old stuff) as well, although Grenouer play more technical stuff. Influences from Entombed in their rock ‘n death period are also to be heard. The album also features Take On Me a live cover version of the biggest hit of 80-ties band A-ha.
