Black vinyl

Greve’s debut was this vinyl single released back in 2019 featuring two tracks that runs for roughly seven minutes each. Side A, Domedagens Renaste Profet, was written back in 2007 from an unreleased full-length entitled I Skuggnornas Mörker. Side B, I Svarta Solens Magi, was written in 2016 and is a re-recording of a track that would appear on their debut album Nordarikets Strid. The atmosphere is Swartadaupuz signature at this point though he’s broken no mold, the appeal is his capability when directing swells of heavily layered ethereal synths into a heavily melodic and driving force for each of these songs. The music will take you back to the mid 90s. It has that sorrowful, depressing yet soothing atmosphere brought by keyboards that was pretty much the name of the game for many of those bands back then. The vocals take a step back and barely hover above the whole thing, making the atmosphere even more effective. Greve knows what 90s black metal sounded like and they do it exactly the right way.
