Description

Phantoms Of Darkness were recorded at the Tokyo Dome, Japan on February 22, 1992 during the Japanese leg of the Use Your Illusion tour. When Guns N Roses returned to Japan they had became a monster band and the band were now including horns and back up singers and could sell out the Tokyo Dome for three nights in a row. This recording features eleven tracks from this third and final night. The core however is still Slash and Duff along with Axl who just had turned 30 before coming to Japan, and he runs and runs as if he can’t contain his overflowing energy. This far into the tour we also hear that Gilby Clarke has settled in well.
