We were constantly trying to keep up with our own success. The words are Per Gessles and the time he talks about is 40 years back, more precisely 1981. Gyllene Tider has broken through with thunder and crashes a year earlier and the shy boys from Halmstad do not really know how to be in the media, what clothes they should wear or how to behave on the big stages… still they are the biggest. The difficult record number two is at the door – the one that so many fall on. But not Gyllene Tider – it will be a success far beyond all expectations. Now, 40 years later, the record is celebrated with this 3-set vinyl box containing the original vinyl, a vinyl with all the songs that were released around the album but never made it onto any record as well as a vinyl with all the songs from the original album recorded live in the rehearsal room in Harplinge.
