Description
Gypsy Kyss was an American rock band from Chelan, Washington, which was founded in 1986 and dissolved around 1992 again. The band was founded in 1986 and the following year the trio went to the studio to record the first demos. In addition, the band was also featured on the Sampler Metal Meltdown Vol. 3 with the song Take Me Home. The demos were widespread so that the band could increase their popularity, so the band reached a contract at Rising Sun Productions. The debut album When Passion Murdered Innocence followed in 1990. The band played in their early days rock music in the style of Rush and Riverdogs. The opener ‘What I Feel’ turned out to be quite a catchy tune. ‘Fair Is Fair’ is a song that will grow when you listen to it a couple of times. ‘Confused’ is quiet but intense track with just an acoustic guitar and ‘Peccavi’ has an amazing vocal performance. Out next is the great ‘Hanging By A Thread’, dramatic, dynamic – unquestionably one of the best songs on the album. Then comes ‘Walk On The Water’ with a great text, and its followed by “Where Do You Go” and the longest track ‘From Here’, which is a musical feast. The cd comes with three bonus tracks, ‘One Way Out’, ‘Sunset’ and the punky ‘Lunatic’.
