Description
Haemorrhage live by the old adage "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" and I admire that. They have been churning out gore grind in the vein of Reek of Putrefaction/Symphonies of Sickness era Carcass for probably over ten years now and they do a good job of it. Some of their earlier stuff was poorly produced but as they have matured into their sound Haemorrhage have turned into an awesome band with top notch just right production. It isn't overly produced but it's produced just enough to give it a "Symphonies of Sickness" vibe which I like. Every track on this album is fantastic as far as I'm concerned. From the sirens at the end of "Mortuary Riot" to the Chainsaws on "Midnight Mortician" and beyond this is a worthy album for any fan of Haemorrhage or early 90's pre "Necroticism" Carcass. These guys are the masters of the genre that Carcass started almost 20 years ago and as far as I'm concerned there isn't any other band out there that masters the theme quite like Haemorrhage and believe me, many bands have tried and failed miserably. For fans of goregrind and or early Carcass or Haemorrhage this is a no brainer, get this album. For casual metal fans who aren't into this sort of thing don't bother. For this type of music I think you either like it or you don't. Track listing: 1. Mortuary Riot 2. Oozing Molten Gristle 3. Midnight Mortician 4. Virulent Mass Necropsy 5. Funeral Carnage 6.
