When the Dutch band Occult changed their name to Legion Of The Damned they also changed style. The music is now more thrash metal than ever. Their first album under their new name was Malevolent Rapture and this split single features an unreleased remix version of the title track, exclusive for this single. At the end of 2006, the future members of Hail of Bullets (Martin Van Drunen (Pestilence/Bolt Thrower/Asphyx), Paul Baayens (Thanatos/Asphyx), Stephan Gebedi (Thanatos), Theo van Eekelen (Thanatos/Houwitser) and Ed Warby (Gorefest)) hooked up for a serious drinking session in the city of Amersfoort, Holland. A mutual love for old school death metal bands like Autopsy, Bolt Thrower, Massacre, Celtic Frost and Death resulted in the idea to form a new band and the name of the band was Hail Of Bullets. One of the first tracks the band wrote was, Warsaw Rising, and here we have an exclusive brutal deluxe mix of the track for this single.
