Hands Of Orlac is an Italian doom metal act that recently moved to Sweden and released their debut self titled album on a Danish label. This album ought to impress the listeners. Listen to the title track and you will hear a Mercyful fate influence in the soloing, rhythm sections and the wailing screams. Castle Of Blood has what seems to be two vocalists, or what sounds like two voices, which, like two guitars switching off leads, one voice chants a chorus, another sings a verse. This plus the flute sections, give the song a haunting feel. Vengeance From The Grave and Lucinda are two more tracks that need to be mentioned. Lucinda has flute passages and two solos that crushes all the other guitar work on the album. I must say that im really impressed by this album. If youre into Acid Witch and Jext Thoth then check this band out
