Hardware from Guadalajara in Mexico started out as Anxiety and then as Dieself before taken the name of Hardware in 1990. The band released a 8-track demo later that year, a tape that even found its way onto the distribution lists of Wild Rags Records in Usa. The band performed some very interesting experimental death metal that they called Cyber Death Metal. They then entered the PM Studios in Mexico on the 26th of December in 1991 to record 4-tracks that would become the first “real” release. This was the Soul Vortex single that got released in early 1992. All four tracks for this single was new and no re-recordings of the demo material. These tracks also showed what a good band this was. The music had some South American rawness to the technical music. Fans of technical old school death metal should check this band out. Some copies were sent out for promotional purpose without cover artwork, to get gigs and get reviews. These copies came with an A4 page that said “Para mas informacion sobre el grupo, y para obtener una portada original, favor de escribir a qualquiera de las siguientes direccioners” which translates to “For more information about the group, and to obtain an original cover, please write to any of the following addresses”

Track list:
1. Chants Of Evil
2. Further the Hills of Dreams
3. Cybernetical Illusion
4. Souls Vortex
