Description

Hailing from the northern Italian city of Milan, home to fashion and football, Hellstorm mix an obsession with the occult with a more rational thrash influence, that of violence. There is one other main influence and theme to this album though. Zombies! Millions of them, an arm of the crawling undead. In particular though this album is heavily influenced by George Romero’s third undead opus, Day Of The Dead! Opening with the short intro Some Flowers In The Graveyard which is essentially the opening bursts of said Romero film, things move deftly into Dead Walk and later on the living dead theme continues through Corpse Hunters and with a more direct Day of the Dead theme, Logan Dr Frankenstein. Later on in the album your ears will be assailed by Fast, Evil And Raging and this track is the epitome of the Hellstorm sound. Raw and savage thrash metal with a dark maniacal twist and the stilled heart of the undead, Hellstorm pull no punches as they lead you down a blood soaked and violent path! Into the Mouth of the Dead Reign is a signal of the end of humanity in most thrashing and cacophonous way!
