The Devils Masquerade is the 2025 album, and the 11th overall, by James Riveras Helstar. This time Rivera and Barragan has gone back to the old days and its heard right out the gate. Sure there are a few songs about Vampirism but the album also goes into subjects beyond that. The devil, the fear of dying and possession. Lots of inspiration has been found in movies and TV series like; Stygian Miracles is based on a Netflix series called Midnight Mass, The Staff Of Truth is about the Twilight episode where this homeless guy sets the devil free from captivity, the title tracks is about the movie Annabel and Seek Out Your Sins is about the movie The Exorcist Pope but in the Helstar version the devil wins. Then you have I Am The Way that was inspired by Dio and his Hear N Aid project Stars. Here Rivera gathered the best and well know Texas metal singers to join him on this song.
