American metal band High Reeper was formed in Delaware, Philadelphia back in 2016. Their debut self titled album was released in 2018. The follow up, Higher Reeper, followed a year later and saw a band that had managed to focus on their sound even more. The record is darker and heavier than their first offering and the guitars crush like a tank. This is classic heavy metal with a doom touch added to the songs. Fans of NWOBHM and early doom ala Witchfynde should adore this
