Description

Mimikry vocalist Hjalmar “Hjalle” Östman first solo album, Ni Vet Ingenting, was released in 2014. The music on here is calmer and more intimate than the music that Östman normally performs with Mimikry. The opening title track could have suited on a Mimikry album. Its far from punk but still enough bite to be one of the calmer tunes on a Mimikry record. From then on Hjalle ventures fully into the troubadour territory. Förlåt is a beautiful tune that could have been written by Lars Winnerbäck and on Mirakel he sings with another artist that probably have been a huge influence for Hjalle during the years, namely Stefan Sundström. Those who love Swedish singer/songwrites and troubadours should check this out and for those who love the voice of Mimikry need this one.
