Homicide Haggridden is a band that seems to have gone under the radar for most metal fans outside of Italy. The band hails from Piemont in Turin and was formed back in 1994. After ten years of releasing demos it was finally time to release the debut album, Dead Black Sun, in 2004. It was followed by the album Us in 2012. Homicide Hagridden plays modern-day Thrash Metal with a lot of Slayer influences, specially in the guitars. What is modern-day Thrash Metal? Well, is kind of easy, imagine those devastating Slayer riffs, combined with semi growl-ish vocals combined with some hardcore-like screams, clean backing vocals and, if I might add, powerful bass lines. So its very intense and aggressive and fans of later Slayer should check this out
