A merciless three way split album between Hutt, Noisear and Gate for grindcore lovers. Hutt is an Brazilian underground grind death band highly influenced by Napalm Death. They started back in 2002 and decided to write in their home language Portuguese simply for the reason that they weren’t good enough to express their message in English. Noisear from New Mexico performs some top quality tech death-grind with the usual spazzbeats, beautiful noise and typographical errors. Fans of Discordance Axis should take notice. Gate is a Japanese buzzsaw act hailing from somewhere in the Tochigi Prefecture of Japan, the proper place to go for shrines and temples, with a total population around half the population of Croatia. Gate is probably a grind act that could be paired with Assuck. Yes, Gate’s dissonant side does remind of early DxAx, but the overall sound is a wholly different, heavier, slower, simpler, pounding Japanese tremolo hell. That almost sounds like Corrupted or something, but Gate is grindcore, and grindcore is fast. So if youre into relentless music then this is a match made in Heaven.
