The French death metal act Hysteria was formed in 1996 and 20 years later they released their third album, Flesh Humiliation And Irreligious Deviance, and still with the original line-up intact. With lyrical themes centred around chaos, suffering and desolation, backed up by some brutal and melodic death metal, this promises to be an extremely heavy release. These 11 compositions shows strength of modern sounding death metal and its genuine riffs. The album is very mature and some of the songs is so dismal and atmospheric that they are borded into black metal and it pushes the album into a darker direction than their previous albums. It feels like this French band have take some musical inspiration from the Scandinavian scene like Dissection, Amon Amarth and Zornheym.
