The album reached #2 in the UK chart and are among the three essential Gillan albums. This time, Gillan’s lyrics is some of the wittiest and funniest he have made and the classic No Laughing In Heaven reached number 31 on the UK singles chart. The second single from the album New Orleans reached number 17. Future Shock is a good, solid hard rock album.
