2017 release from the Texas-based metal band. Includes the single No Sanctuary. Forged in 2003, Ignitor began turning heads in several countries after releasing a 6-song EP Take To The Sky to rave reviews in 2004, when Germany’s Rock Hard magazine named it “Demo Of The Month.” Their sixth studio album Haunted By Rock N Roll features some thrashy stripe of metal with gritty riffs and a pounding rhythm section supporting wild, screamy vocals. Sometimes I’m reminded of fellow Texans Helstar and their brand of power/thrash, other times the unhinged screaming makes me think of a metal version of The Darkness. I guess McMaster’s vocals is the one that will get you to like or dislike this band. He has a range of vocals that all provide lots of character to the songs. This is straight up heavy metal with good production and just enough crunch. A great cover version of Raven’s Hung, Drawn And Quartered.
