2007 re-issue with two bonus videos

Formed in January 1999 Brazilian death metallers Infested Blood are already a fairly known name in the metal underground. The band has been around for a decade now and has released three full-length albums with Tribute To Apocalypse being their second. It was recorded in 2005 and now it’s time for it’s re-release with better and improved sound, a step that will bring them closer to wider metal audience. The album contains only about 28 minutes of extreme death metal, but it is quite enough, like one of the biggest pearls in metal world – Reign in Blood is app. of the same length. It means two things; you’re never really bored as it is delivered fast and directly, and mostly because everything has been said that should be told, no reason to include more unnecessary sounds and songs that were useless. Those 8 songs included on this album are a pure example of how a death metal record should sound; it is a lesson in heaviness, speed and brutality. In other words; it is violence in new school style. For you who hasnt heard the band before we can tell that they play a technical blend of death metal inspired by the likes of Deeds Of Flesh, Disgorge, Suffocation and of course, their native brothers, Krisiun who would probably be one of the biggest death metal acts to come out of Brazil.
