Double album on white vinyls with gatefold cover, OBI-strip and poster

The World Slavery Tour was the biggest and most arduous tour Iron Maiden ever did. The tour lasted for 331 days, during which the band performed 189 gigs. The band were left exhausted by its end in 1985 and demanded a break for the rest of the year. This tour also took the band to a lot of new cities. They did no less than 11 shows on their Canadian leg of this tour and it started in Halifax on the 24th of November. The band had never been to Halifax, Nova Scotia and they had Twisted Sister as support act on this tour. However not all were that found of the two bands coming to Canada. For the first date of the tour, the one in Halifax, many were worried as they all remembered an expensive fiasco back in April of 1980 when April Wine fans caused about $6,000 in damage to the Dartmouth ferry after a show. Parents and elderly were interviewed before the event and comments like “They’re high on the devil’s music” and “There’s no doubt that Twisted Sister is sick” were some of the comments mentioned. The security were also there with police dogs to “sniff out the drugs.” Twisted Sister were riding high on the strength of their single We’re Not Gonna Take It and Dee Snider commented; Contrary to popular opinion, 10,000 kids aren’t going to ruin Canada on this tour, They’re going to go home and have a good night’s sleep … because they really enjoyed themselves. This album was recorded on the second night of the Canadian tour which took part at the Colisee De Quebec in Quebeck City on the 26th of November 1984. This was the only date that were struck with a huge tragedy. An 18-year-old Iron Maiden fan, Daniel Pitre, fell 100 ft to his death from a catwalk in the press area. This arent mentioned on the disc as the band learned about the death only after the show. Like most shows on the World Slavery Tour its amazing. The set list is superb and if you close your eyes and imagine the massive set up the band had on stage you might get a glimpse of the glory of this tour. Unbelievable
