Description

Blue vinyl with gatefold cover, double sided poster and DiAnno postcard. Limited 80 copies

Iron Maiden is clearly one of the most recognizable and successful groups to emerge from the NWOBHM scene that came into being in the late seventies, as well as one of the most influential metal bands of all time, with an infinite number of 80’s and later bands owing to their style. Like many long-standing group, their early albums really define the band and there even those who would claim that the early Di’Anno years were the band’s best but that Di’Anno era ended in September of 1981 when the unreliable singer was sacked. This album captures the band live during DiAnnos last tour with the band. A recent undusted tape has been found from the bands performance at Bataclan in Paris, France on the 21st of March. The band performed no less than 10 show in France during this tour with More as support act. This album has some cool tracks as theres always a thrill to hear a live version of Genghis Khan or Another Life featuring an incredible Clive Burr and Dave Murrays melodic lead lines. Paul seems to be in fine form and handles the fast lyrical delivery of Purgatory with ease with all the classic Maiden twists and turns. The band is two months away from their first Japanese tour and their classic Maiden Japan EP. Here ou have the incredible Remember Tomorrow, one of the early Paul classics, always loved his vocals on this song, and the guitar solos from both Adrian and Dave are incredible. This album features almost the entire Killers album save for Prodigal Son and Drifter so we get all the tasty slabs of molten Maiden metal

2. Purgatory
