Description

Due to his uncontrollable alcohol addiction, Di'Anno was forced to part company with the group and would soon be replaced with vocalist Bruce Dickinson in 1982 for the band's groundbreaking The Number Of The Beast album. Their Beast On The Road tour would take them to United States for a tour. A couple of weeks into the tour the band made their first American headlining show at the Palladium in New York on the 29th of June of 1982. This was recorded for a radio broadcast according to Dickinson’s comments and not only is an excellent performance but also comes to you in simply stunning sound quality that could easily be an official release. There are some issues with Phantom Of The Opera where between 1:36 and 1:42 there are some slight issues including repeating that must be part of the source or mastering flaws and 22 Acacia Avenue is listed on the cover however its not on the disc. Track listing: 1. Murders In The Rue Morgue 2. Wrathchild 3. Run To The Hills 4. Children Of The Damned 5. The Number Of The Beast 6. Prisoner 7. Hallowed Be Thy Name 8. Phantom Of The Opera 9. Iron Maiden 10. Sanctuary 11. Drifter
