Losing Randy Rhoads was a major blow to Ozzy Osbourne. Not only for his career but also to his private life. Randy had been the breath of fresh air that Ozzy needed after being kicked out of Black Sabbath due to his drug addiction. When Randy passed away Ozzy went back to drowning his sorows with alcohol and drugs. Sharon had to step in not only kept the singer from abusing drugs and alcohol but also trying to look forward. Things started to function again when another ambitious guitarist in Jake E Lee. Together they created two classic Ozzy albums, Bark At The Moon and The Ultimate Sin that took Ozzys career to a whole new level. Unfortunately the huge amount of money and fame took its toll of the relationship between Sharon, Ozzy and the rest of the band. Jake E Lee went on with Badlands and later Red Dragon Cartel and between theese he has a few solo albums under his own name. For this album Jake E Lee took some time off and went into the studio with friends and recorded a bunch of covers to show todays kids how things should be done. Featured here are covers of Van Halen, Ted Nugent, Ac/dc, Metallica and others. To these recordings we have some of the greatest voices in hard rock. Vocals are done by Deep Purples Glenn Hughes, Warrant’s Jani Lane, Ratt’s Stephen Pearcy, Testament’s Chuck Billy and more.
