2009 re-issue with one bonus track taken from the B-side of their vinyl single

Jasper Wrath was a progressive rock band that hailed from New Haven, Connecticut. In 1971 they released their debut album on Sunflower, an MGM subsidiary. Sunflower never lasted, so it comes as no surprise the Jasper Wrath LP went out of print. The band were founded by Jeff Cannata, who would later go on to form the 1980s band Arc Angel. The band also featured James Christian, who would later go on to front the notable glam metal band House Of Lords. Their self titled debut album was recorded in New York City and can be described as a cross between Yes and the Moody Blues (no Mellotron, though with a folky and psychedelic feel. The album was released in the early 70s but it shows a band that really arent ready to totally shake the ’60s off due ot that nice folksy psychedelic vibe going on. So be prepare for an album with a strange combination of the ’60s and the early ’70s.
