It started with a track on an Italian compilation album back in the 80s and then the band went through several line-up changers before the Turin based act Jester Beast recorded their demo-tape Destroy After Use. This release, was so well liked, even beyond national borders, that Nuclear Blast Records put three of these tracks on their Pleasures In Life compilation album (1989). The band brought its aggressive sound on stage alongside Cro-Mags, Coroner, Morbid Angel, Ludichrist, Victim’s Family, as well as being involved in the influential, hard-core Italian scene of the late 80’s. Their first full length album, Poetical Freakscream was released in 1991 and put the band out on a European tour with The Accused. The Serial Killer EP followed in 1993 and they almost had material ready for their second full length album when they instead split up. This album finally sees that first demo on vinyl with a fully remastered sound directly from the original studio reels. This is a merciless fast thrashcore album combining the fury of 80s Slayer with killer Voivod-esque riffing and the ferocious HC speed of Wehrmacht, SOD and DRI. If you like the impact of the best riff oriented Thrash mixed with 80s Hardcore Crossover fury, this is THE record that you won’t stop listening for years.
