Jesus Chrusler Supercar came together in Stockholm back in the spring of 2011 with the common goal to deliver a trashy, hard and in your face mix of old school death-metal and pure rock n roll. Later that summer the band joined forces with Tomas Skogsberg, who also produced bands like Entombed, The Hellacopters and Backyard Babies, at the legendary Sunlight Studio to record their debut album Among The Ruins And Desolate Lands. This is an album that the band themselves describes as a real bastard of Entombed and Motorhead. Well this is Death n roll metal like it should be played and the Entombed frontman LG Petrov even makes a guest appearance on the tracks Death Row Blues and Before I Turn You Down. There is also a dirty garage rock feeling to some of the tracks which gives this album a very honest feeling. This album really was a pleasant surprise and once again it proves what a great country Sweden is when it comes to producing new and interesting metal acts. Jesus Chrusler Supercar might have come outta nowhere but remember the name because we hope to hear more from them in the coming years
