Description

Alien was certainly placed within the upper echelons of Scandinavian melodic rock and their Only One Woman single spent six weeks as the Swedish number 1 in 1988. After the major success of the debut album vocalist Jim Jidhed departed for a solo career. For his debut album he gathered together a bunch of fellow Scandinavian musicians and recorded a highly acclaimed AOR album of material from the various pens of noted AOR songwriters Norwegian guitar god Ole Evenrude, Diane Warren, Steinberg / Kelly and Canadian outfit Refugee. For his second solo album Jidhed abandon the AOR material and wrote a radio pop album in Swedish. The Snart Kommer Natten album was released in 1991.
