Radio DJ Jim Ladd began his career in 1969 at KNAC, a small Long Beach, rock station, but he moved in 1974 to KMET, known to its legions of listeners as “The Mighty Met”, where he would remain for the rest of the 1970s and most of the 1980s while also hosting and producing Innerview an hour-long nationally syndicated interview program. On May 6, 2005 Jim Ladd received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where Jackson Browne made the induction speech. Innerview was the first radio show in the US to focus on rock artists and their music. It aired from the mid 1970′s until the late 1990′s. “Innerview” offered an in-depth look at music from the perspective of the artist.
This is show number 10 from the 18th serie. It features an interview with Rik Emmett and music with Triumph. Judging by their talk, music and radio ads it sounds like it was aired in December of 1981.
