Description

2022 re-issue of The Usual Suspects with new cover artwork and remastered sound. Red vinyl with gatefold cover

Joe Lynn Turner, the man with the golden voice, is best known for fronting Rainbow but the man has released far more solo albums then recordings with Rainbow. His 2005 solo album, The Usual Suspects, sounds like its taken straight out of the 80s. On this recording we find Al Pitrelli (Savatage, Alice Cooper, Megadeth) on guitar. We have some melodic rocks like Power Of Love and the riff heavy Blood Money. Turner voice is just as impressive here as it was in the mid 80s. His soulfoul voice comes to full use in the soulrock ballad Really Loved. With a splendid vocalist in top form this should be an album that please both latter day Rainbow fans and fans of melodic 80s era rock.
