Original 1982 UK single with red Polydor label

After working with Rick Wakeman and Jon And Vangelis Jon Anderson released his third solo album, Animation in 1982. The first single from the album was Surrender, one of the shortest songs on the album. This is a popier and catchier track then some of the more epic progressive 9 minute tunes that was on the album. The sound is very electronic not like Kraftwerk or the like but Anderson were at the time trying to create a sound that embraced the new electronic age. The B-side of the single, Spider, was a none album track that were exclusive for this single. However it was added as a bonus track on the first cd release of the album in 2006.
