Musically JTB is a well-performed jazz fusion record, which is rather steady in terms of quality. This record has been produced rather well and the sound are apt and relatively warm. Jukka Tolonen is one of the most interesting jazz rock and fusion guitarists and he brings a nice mix of guitar sounds and is not afraid to put a bit of humour in his productions (like on this album where there is a track called “Fart”-ington Blues, and it starts with….? Exactly!). If jazz and fusion takes yours fancy, you should need to give JTB a spin.
