Just Before Dawn is a project of Anders Biazzi, guitarist for Blood Mortized (and earlier in Amon Amarth) and it could be compared to Fred Estbys Necronaut. We have nine songs on the album and different vocalists growling for each of them. A War Too Far is the Biazzi and his cohorts fifth album and its one of the better Bolt Thrower worshipping albums you could hear in 2023. Biazzi has also dipped into his other former band, Amon Amarth for a little more influence. The line-up still features Blood Mortized and God Forsaken drummer Gustav Myrin and Heads For The Dead, Massacre drummer Jon Rudin. The guests on the album are: David Kreft (Graceless), Damien Terry (Grimner), Filip Fougstedt (Creeping Flesh), Sebastian Gustavsson (Envig), Matias Nastolin (Decaying), Daniel Gustavson (Tormention). If you think this is an impressive guest list then it will just get better. On the title track we find none other than James Murphy of Death/Obituary/Discarnate fame. The historical lyrics about the Vietnam war are provided by Per Albinsson (of Therion).
