Description

Killerpilze, a German rock and punk band formed in October of 2002 in Dillingen an der Donau. Killerpilze is made up by four young students in the ages between 13 and 18 and during the next years they managed to impress both critics, fans and fellow musicians. On July 7, 2004, the group recorded its first album Von Vorne Durch Die Punkalle. They performed in small concert halls until Universal Music noticed them and received a record deal. Their debut album Invasion Of The Killer Mushroom went into spot 7 on the German album charts. Within a short period of time, with self written punk rock songs, the band secured a faithful fan base in their homeland and sold out a headlining tour and rocked over 30 festivals. The bands stage energy can now be brought home in the form of an official live dvd. The Invasion Der Killerpile Denn Zum Rocken Sind Wird Da (Invasion Of Killerpilze, because were here to rock) live dvd was recorded at the Orpheum Theatre in Graz, Austria on the 26th and 27th of August 2006 in front of an enthusiastic audience. This is Rock n Roll – in its best sense. What counts for us is here and now. Of course we want to develop our band, but the songs that we present are what we are now. Everything else comes later, said Max. In addition to the concert footage there also exclusive bonus material, which makes the hearts of fans beat faster: the video clips along with making of, tour documentary and behind the scenes segments as well a special hidden treat.
