Kim Wilde was one of the most popular and successful female artists in the 80s. I think she was more popular in Europe than she was in the US. This is a nice collection but not the ultimate collection. KIm Wilde had more top 20 UK hits than any other female artist. To get a perfect collection then you need to make it a double album but until then this will do just fine. Kim Wilde was never a one-hit wonder and this colleciton spans 12 years of her career. Kids In America is here well-known early New Wave hit. And you hear around track mid that many of the new wave influences are gone and the music is now harder and louder. Then we have some neo-disco mode tunes and by the end its more sophisticated and adult contemporary in sound.
