The classic 1976 Kiss album Destroyer has been brought to life again as Destroyer: Resurrected. The album’s original producer Bob Ezrin as pulled the original Destroyer tapes from the vaults and remixed the entire album enhancing the sound and bringing out its rich texture and vibrancy, while keeping the integrity of the original recording intact. Destroyer was the Kiss album to go platinum in the USA. The album featured Detroit Rock City as well as the surprise hit Beth, a ballad written and sung by drummer Peter Criss. The new version of Destroyer will also feature the cover originally intended for the album. Destroyer: Resurrected will feature a brown cover with the band in their Alive costumes standing in front o rubble in burning ruins. Originally their record label thought the cover was too violent looking and settled for a tamer blue version.
