During the summer of 2016 Kiss slayed across the US during July to September for their Kissworld tour. A sold out arena tour that the year after would head over to Europe. This album was recorded when Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer performed at the Unipol Arena in Bologna, Italy on the 16th of May 2017. This was the first time Kiss was back in Europe for the first time since 2015.
