Description

The Marquee Club in London, England opened in 1958 and it was always a small and relatively cheap club, located in the heart of the music industry in Londons West End, and used to launch the careers of generations of rock acts. It was a key venue for early performances by bands that were to achieve worldwide fame in the 1960s and remained a venue for young bands in the following decades. In 1988, the Wardour Street site was sold for redevelopment and the Marquee Club was forced to move again, this time to a larger venue at 105 Charing Cross Road. The official grand opening party at Charing Cross were held on the 16th of August 1988 where Kiss performed a show just a few days before theyre co-headlining show at the annual Monsters Of Rock festival. This club gig would be the last Kiss would do until 2010 when they held a special club gig for the press to promote the upcoming Sonic Boom tour. This 1988 show were part of the Crazy Nights Tour but it would be the only show during the tour where the band performed in front of just a couple of hundred visitors. This very limited EP features 3-tracks recorded that night
