Description

Double album on dark blue vinyls with gatefold cover in 3D On Sept. 18, 1983, the band Kiss – in a promotional stunt for its new album Lick It Up, on the fledgling station MTV – appeared in public, officially, sans makeup. Of course, by then, the 70s monsters of rock and merchandising were not what they had been. You wanted the best? In fact, at the unmasking and on the album, you instead got Vinnie Vincent instead of Ace Frehley on guitar, and Eric Carr instead of Peter Criss on drums. Still, the album went platinum, and Kiss, as always, endured. I wonder if they ever thought they would be back in make up 15 years later and i wonder if they would be have thought they would be doing a free performance at the NCAA Final Four block party for more than 35,000 fans at Woldenberg Park in New Orleans 29 years later. However Kiss seems to be unstoppable. Now guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer are making the line-up complete. This limited double album were recorded that night (30th of March 2012) at the Woldenberg Park in New Orleans Track listing: 1. Modern Day Deliah 2. Shout It Out Loud 3. Deuce 4. Hotter Than Hell 5. Let Me Go Rock N Roll 6. Shock Me 7. Calling Dr. Love 8. I Love It Loud 9. Bass Solo-Gene Simmons 10. 100000 Years 11. Love Gun 12. Black Diamond 13. Detroit Rock City 14. Lick It Up 15. Rock And Roll All Nite
