Double album on purple vinyls with gatefold cover, OBI-strip and a 24 page tourbook

Vivant IV was recorded at the Lewis J.Tullio Arena in Erie, PA on the 27th of March 1986 for their Asylum Tour, with King Kobra as opening act. Wasp was supposed to open the show so many of the fans were angry that they had been replaced by an uknown band (not many had discovered King Kobra’s debut album Ready To Strike yet). The review in the Morning Call the day after read: Jump. Shout. Party. That’s what happened Thursday night when a screaming audience of teenagers rocked to the music of Kiss at the Erie Civic Center. The concert got off to a late start, but the audience didn’t seem to mind… The music was loud and profane, the words were unintelligible, but the kids loved it. The band’s theatrics also were entertaining as they pranced about the stage, leaving into the air, gesturing to the crowd and tossing their long hair. The band still performed several tracks from their Creatures Of The Night album and we also get some of the new tracks like Uh! All Night and Tears Are Falling. Uh! All Night is a rarity to hear live as it was mostly played live during this tour and to surprise fans they even dusted it off on one of the Kiss Kruises.

1. Detroit Rock City
