Description
Black vinyl with gatefold cover
This album encapsulates the thrash metal band Kreator’s live performance at Dynamo Open Air back in 1998. The album setlist seems familiar and strange at the same time. On the one hand, there are the well-known songs Terror Zone, Pleasure To Kill and Extreme Agression, which were already classics at the time and should not be missing from any set list. On the other hand, there are four songs from the then current album Outcast, which isnt the strongest album in the Kreator discography. Tracks such as Phobia and Black Sunrise survived for a few years but the others dissapeared soon. There are also material from Renewal and Cause For Conflict that rarely are heard live. So Kreator fans should find this one enjoyable just for the rarities on the set list. If you just want to hear Kreator classics then there are other Kreator live albums out there. No matter what songs that makes onto the set list the Essen thrashers still peforms like theres no tomorrow.
“I think it was an interesting musical period. Those years were never documented, until now. The songs were heavy as fuck” – Mille Petrozza
